Our Story

Celebrating 70 years in Park Falls, WI and 23 years in our current building, Family Worship Center's strives to focus on the greatest commandment: to Love God and to Love People.

Pastor Stephen Kjetland was appointed our senior pastor in January of 2019. Before pastoring here, he ministered as a youth pastor and associate pastor for four years in River Falls, WI before moving to Park Falls in 2017. Once here, he was instated as the youth and associate pastor under Pastor Terry Wilson and remained as such until being voted in as senior pastor when Pastor Terry retired. Pastor Stephen has a bachelors of arts degree in Pastoral Studies with a minor in Bible and Theology from North Central University in Minneapolis, MN. He and his wife, Rebekah, met while at university where she majored in Music Business. Together they look forward to an amazing life of God's blessings as he leads our church to do great things for God!

What We Believe

Family Worship Center believes that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is alive and active today. That means that His miracles and the workings of the Holy Spirit are still active, possible, and happening all around us. What matters most to us is reaching everyone with the love of Christ and making sure that we honor Him in all that we do. Family Worship Center is an Assemblies of God church, meaning that our beliefs also align with the major beliefs of this denomination.
